Julien Codorniou,the director for Facebook Worldwide partner Platform claimed that the firm will officially introduce the Facebook at Work to its enterprise users in a few months. The Facebook at Work has been testing for about one year.
It is similar with the ordinary Facebook version, Facebook at Work offers message stream, likes and chatting functions. It aims to enhance the cooperation between enterprises and employees.
Codorniou claimed:” I can admit that 95% of Facebook launched functions are integrated to Facebook at Work.”
To experience the Facebook at Work, the uses need to create a special account that is different from the personal ones.
Facebook customized a special function for Facebook at Work version, for example, it launched the information safety tool.
The company started testing this service from January,2015 and it offered to use for free during the trial period. It was introduced to the enterprises by using the “Invited” mode.
Facebook at Work will be open to all enterprises after it is being released. Facebook plans to obtain profit by months by promoting advanced services, such as data analysis and customer technical support.
According to IDC report, the annual revenue of Linkein and Monster Worldwide are about $6 billion.
So far, Heineken, Royal bank of Scotland, Stella and Dot are using Facebook at Work. It is said that Club Mediterranee SA will join the membership.
Codorniou said nearly all the features of Facebook at Work are the same with the ordinary version. It only has a few special features, for instance, users can play Candy Crush Saga on Facebook at Work.
