The popular blogger Mark Gurman on 9to5mac reported that Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned at the General Assembly meeting that Apple Music will take on Android platform soon. It is a means that Apple tested its service with non Apple device.

Apple has been positioning itself as a service company. Cook claimed at the General Assembly meeting that the company is planning to enlarge its service division.

Apple has plans to have its service taken on Android or other platforms. The statement of Cook implied that Apple might consider to have iCloud service and Apple Pay taken on Android platform.

The General Assembly meeting was held after Apple announced its Q1 2016 earnings report. Its net profit of Q1 2016 was over $18 billion. However, the Wall Street still considered Apple made poor performance which led to the share price declines continuous.

The speeches that Cook made at the General Assembly meeting were related with the feedback that investors made as many of its employees hold Apple shares.

What Wall Street concern is Apple experienced the glory of iPhone which means iPhone shipments might suffer initially decline since iPhone being introduced.

Cook addressed that iPhone will be the most important business of Apple in the near future. He assumed that iPhone shipments will keep increasing. The iPad shipments kept declining in the past year, but Cook claimed that its department revenue will be increased again by the end of this year.

Cook mentioned that the company won’t debut hardware product this year. His statement implied Apple has been launching Apple cars as reported.

To attract more trial users to turn into subscribers, YouTube will release the first around sponsored original episodes on Feb. 10.

The original episodes are including three files and a series of Adventure episodes, such as Scare PewDiePie and A trip to Unicorn Island. They are starred by respectively Pew DiePie and Lilly Singh.

Pew DiePie has 42 million fans on YouTube, while Lilly Singh has 8 million fans. The mentioned original episodes are only available for subscribers on YouTube Red. They might be introduced to international subscribers in the near future.

YouTube introduced the subscribed service YouTube Red on last October 28. Since the subscribed service was released, it helped the Alphabet to obtain more profit via internet entertainment content. The service enhances the comptitition with Netflix.

YouTube Red charges subscribers $9.99 per month for subscrition. Even though the users can watch online videos for free, but they are not able to download the videos and bothered by ads. Google are persuading users to subscrib this service to watch ads-free videos. What’s more, the subscribers are allowed to download the videos so that they could enjoy them offline.

YouTube’s revenue is an important element for the success o Alphabet. Pew DiePie that YouTube trained has a lots of fans. It is easier to promote its original episodes and attract users to be subscribers. YouTube also make full use of original contents to attract the potential subscribers as Netflix and Amazon did.

Apple just announced its 4Q earnings report, showing its hardware products suffered different levels decrease. Its market value decreased, losing the worldwide No.1 with market value. The No.1 with market value went to Alphabet.

9to5mac reported that Apple sets its Spring Product Release Conference on March 15. This news made a great hit and was quotated by worldwidw medium.

It was rumored that the release conference would be held on March 14. 9to5mac pointed out it might have changes for the release date as there are still weeks waiting.

Apple will release new important products on this conference since last Spring Forward. This conference is similar with its last autumn product release conference. Apple is supposed to introduce three major products.

The medium reported that Apple would introduce iPhone 5se. It is installed with A9 precessor, upgraded camera and compatible with Live Photo feature. It equips with NFC chip to support the Apple Pay as well. It is reported that the selling price of iPhone 5se is similar with iPhone 5s.

The second product that Apple might introduce is iPad Air 3. Apple upgraded one more for this 9.7-inch ipad since the autum conference of 2014. This product will equip with some features and settings of iPad Pro, such as applying new data interface and better speaker performance.

The Q4 earnings report showed that the sales volume of Apple iPad decreased by 25%. Its 13-inch business iPad that introduced in Q4 did not stop the declining.

The third product will be the upgraded Apple Watch. The news reported that the new Apple Watch will support the latest watch strap and inner software system.

Apple Watch obtained some certain market share in the wearable market. But the comments from this industry and consumers seem unsatisfaction. Hope Apple could enhance the performance for its next generation of Apple Watch as Apple relies much on the smartphone business.

Yahoo CEO released the company cost-cutting plan recently, including dis-mission of 15% workforce. It will dismiss 1,600 employees and close down several subsidiaries.

The Wall Street Journal reported that such plan is estimated to carry out after it announces the Q4 earnings report. It is unclear which subsidiaries will be closed down so far. Yahoo spokesman claimed that the company won’t make any comment on this news before the earnings report is announced.

The activist investors wrote to Yahoo last month to urge Yahoo CEO Mayer and its leading group to enhance the expectation of agent outlooks. The letter implied Mayer and her group should resign.

It is not confirmed whether the dimission news that Mayer released could meet the investors’ requirements. Yahoo might attract more purchasers after it carries out the cost-cutting plan.

Verizon CEO Fran Shammo claimed in last December if Yahoo wished to sell its business, American Telco Inc was willing to acquire it.

By June 30, 2015, Yahoo had 11,000 employees. On December 31, 2014, it counted it had 12,500 employees, including full-time employees and casual employees.

Last week, Yahoo released press that it would close down the subsidiaries in Argentina and Mexico but no more details concerned how many jobs would be cut.

Since Mayer’s assumption of CEO duty, Yahoo’s interest keeps declining. The market share of Yahoo search engine in US market is standstill. Its share declined by 1.2% on Monday, down to $29.14 per share.
