The publisher of RF, ParkerVision that comes from Florida submitted the application to ITC and Florida regional court to prosecute Apple, Samsung, LG and Qualcomm Incorporated as they infringed its wireless networking patent.

ParkerVision claimed that the wireless receivers made by Qualcomm and Samsung violated its wireless networking patent. Apple, Samsung and LG all apply the infringed Qualcomm chips for their mobile devices. The Sahnnon 928 RF reciever which is made by Samsung will be further checked as well.

The involved patents inlcude No.6879817,No.7929638, No.8571135 and No9118528. They are related to the wireless radio frequency technology and its applications usage. ParkerVision respectively sues Qualcomm and Samsung concern the patent infringement.

ParkerVision sued Qualcomm in 2011 for the first time, but it could not prove the evidence. In 2013, the Jury of Florida court ruled Qualcomm infringed ParkerVision’s patent and fined $173 million, but this judgment was objective later.

In the document ParkerVision submitted, it asked for prohibiting to export those infringed products to overseas. The involved Apple products are iPhone 6, iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and other products.

ParkerVision is a listed company that established in 1989 and it specializes in designing wireless chips. Most of its revenue is from the technology licensing business. The infringement damages its advantage in this industry, so it has to appeal to the court.

ParkerVision’s future seems to be negative. It only signed one contract in the first three quarters this year. The revenue only has $55 million.

The current 3D Touch is only compatible with iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The iPad users are discontented with this, especially for those who bought iPad Pro or iPad mini 4.

Due to the difference of screen sizes, iPad series do not support 3D Touch sound reasonable. The key is how long we need to wait for a compatible 3D Touch for iPad.

AppleInsider posted an exclusive report today and indicated the confirmed source provided that Apple is now studying an advanced 3D Touch technology that supports all screen sizes on iOS devices.

KGI analyst reported that iPad Air 3 will be released next March, but it won’t match with 3D Touch either.

Julien Codorniou,the director for Facebook Worldwide partner Platform claimed that the firm will officially introduce the Facebook at Work to its enterprise users in a few months. The Facebook at Work has been testing for about one year.

It is similar with the ordinary Facebook version, Facebook at Work offers message stream, likes and chatting functions. It aims to enhance the cooperation between enterprises and employees.

Codorniou claimed:” I can admit that 95% of Facebook launched functions are integrated to Facebook at Work.”

To experience the Facebook at Work, the uses need to create a special account that is different from the personal ones.

Facebook customized a special function for Facebook at Work version, for example, it launched the information safety tool.

The company started testing this service from January,2015 and it offered to use for free during the trial period. It was introduced to the enterprises by using the “Invited” mode.

Facebook at Work will be open to all enterprises after it is being released. Facebook plans to obtain profit by months by promoting advanced services, such as data analysis and customer technical support.

According to IDC report, the annual revenue of Linkein and Monster Worldwide are about $6 billion.

So far, Heineken, Royal bank of Scotland, Stella and Dot are using Facebook at Work. It is said that Club Mediterranee SA will join the membership.

Codorniou said nearly all the features of Facebook at Work are the same with the ordinary version. It only has a few special features, for instance, users can play Candy Crush Saga on Facebook at Work.

HTC announced on Tuesday that it would delay the release of HTC Vive till next April. It was supposed to be launched before this Christmas according to its schedule.

According to a document from New York prosecution office, Google can easily reset passwords for older version Android system to obtain more details for investigating officers on the condition that the court required.

The document indicates the Android 5.0 or advanced one will not be able to reset passwords remotely due to the complete encryption function. The encryption function is not open by default on many other devices. However, the older Android versions have high risk being able to remotely reset passords.

The judicial investigators can make short cut for obtaining the passwords for some Android devices via some judicial expertise technologies. They need to apply for search warrant from the court on some Android devices.

They have right to ask for Google to assist the data collecting by reseting their passwords. Google is able to reset their passwords by remote so that the judicial investigators will check the backup content.

According to the data provided by the Android developers panel, 74.1% of Android devices still run the older Android system which are under high risk being reset passwords by remote.

Such situation works better to iPhone users. Apple can not skip the passwords on iOS or advanced version. These systems open the encryption function by default.
